Course Selection Chart
Students pursuing an Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC) must complete 14 credits. 7 are compulsory and 7 are optional. Please click here to see the Certificate requirements.
Students working on a Certificate of Accomplishment (0-13 credits) will work on individualized programs with the opportunity to participate in some optional Open courses, either for credit or not for credit, depending on their abilities. Please click here for more information on the Certificate of Accomplishment program.
Decisions about which courses are offered are made by the school, considering the needs and interests of the students in our programs. If there is insufficient demand for a course in a particular year, students may be asked to make a second choice of courses. Brighton will consult with the student population when planning optional courses for the subsequent years.
