Brighton the World Charity
In order to help our students develop a concern for others and translate that concern into action, Brighton students participate in a number of different fundraising and charitable activities during the year.
World Vision
Students use toonies collected on our Casual Days and at our dances to support our World Vision sponsored child in Thailand.
Haiti
This year we have been focusing on raising money for Haiti earth quake relief through an awareness and fundraising campaign, and a Hot Dogs for Haiti Day. Click here for the Hot Dogs for Haiti Flyer
Earth Day
Students are very involved in Earth Day projects, such as Meatless Earth Day to raise awareness of the effects of factory farming of meat; planting and maintaining an organic garden in the playground; and community clean-ups. Click here for the Earth Day Flyer
Each year our students participate in the Terry Fox run, and have been named in the top 20 per capita schools under 200 in Ontario for fundraising for the last three years.
