Brighton School Summer Camp

Summer 2022

Brighton’s summer camp will be taking a hiatus for the summer of 2022. We plan to be back in July 2023 and hope to see you then.

About our Summer Camp program

Make friends and have fun at Brighton’s “Friendship Factory” summer camp!  Our summer camp program focuses on providing elementary and high school students with fun, engaging play-based opportunities to learn and practice important friendship and social skills in a summer camp environment. Through sports, games, interactive activities and role plays, social skills lessons and real-time coaching will focus on creating positive interactions with peers in 5 key friendship-building areas: Conversation Skills; Cooperative Play Skills; Friendship Management Skills; Self Regulation; & Conflict Management.

The summer program is designed so that the weeks build on skills learned in the previous weeks, but are structured in a way that each week’s skills can stand alone. Activities will include a variety of sports & outdoor games; arts & crafts; music and baking. Staff will support and encourage participants to apply the skills that they are learning throughout these activities during the day.
